A broken ‘original’ window regulator, and the second pic is the Tom Mills replacement (the only real solution to prevent it from happening again)

401KATYou can see the sheets of color pics along with written insructions in the 1st pic..but they also have a 10 min video on youtube...I've fabbed a lot of stuff in my lifetime so I can imagine the r&d it took to get this piece right...another reason I support this forum...would have been lost on this project without u guys.....jim
alrtgEven though the regulators in my 2000 had not yet stopped working, I bought a set for both sides when Tom first offered them.

When I took the doors apart in June 2010, the regulators were obviously failing so I was glad I made the decision to replace them sooner than later.

Fortunately for me I was able to replace mine at an East Coast Posse Maintenance Weekend where I had help.
My car wasn't the only one to get a pair of regulators replaced that weekend.

If you look close, you can see the Dynomat on both the door frame as well as inside on the door skin.

The guy in the photo is the prior owner of the car whom I have known for 50+ years, he was kind enough to help me.

Seven years later, the regulators are working flawlessly and I could not be happier with the product.
